I can't say what others are doing with your ratings, but the views of your posts, since you restarted posting, have increased by about a thousand, give or take.

You have to realise that your ratings are, fair dinkum matter of fact ratings, not influenced by 100 pointers, late tips, Unitab or other prices, so much favoured by some punters, so there really is not much they could comment on.

Do people use it?

I'd wager that some do, but as someone else said before, you can write the name of the winner of every race on the footpath at the entrance of any racetrack and most punters would not take notice.

Posting tips can be bit of a self gratifying exercise, or a genuine desire to help others, probably both I guess.

I posted tips in the past, once or twice a year just to show, that I know what I'm talking about, but can't be bothered to do it any more.

No need to to prove anything to anybody, for one thing, secondly my selections are very price sensitive, destroying the odds would be the end of it.

Just as well the magic 60 to 70% of winners come from the first 5 in price order, is religiously observed by 99% of punters.
