I'm exactly the same. I've ALWAYS been way too cautious with my betting and as a result I don't make anywhere near enough advantage of my wins. I mostly bet each-way and I also tend to go more for quinellas rather than trifectas and first fours. On a few occasions I've actually had a four horse quinella and won, only to see my horses run 1,2,3,4 and the first 4 pays heaps.

A good example of me being cautious is last week in the tipping comp. I had 2 tips in every race. If I had simply had $10 on all my top picks, I would have made nearly $30 more profit than I did.

When I put my tips in tomorrow, I'll probably do the same thing again however. I find it hard to change. Once a cautious punter, always a cautious punter???
