Race 1-TAB No1 BARALABA BABE is the first selection. if not highlighted or asterix it is the bet but not as best bet or special..the tab nos 2.3.4 are other horses selected in numerical order ..so the selections for race 1 are 1.2.3.4 you can box all 4 horses for quinella,exacta,trifecta or even first 4's-i call these bets multi bets,or back each horse for win or place.

If I only wanted to bet on 1 horse I would select the 1st one you mention, horse number 2 (TAB)? is number1 BARALABA BABE first horse mentioned.

So what is the 1 before the name-TAB horse No1 and why is the name listed? Is that the name of the horse - yes...TAB No1 BARALABA BABE
