Track bias on Aust. tracks is alive and well.

The bias referred to is often meant between one track's times and another. Individual track bias also exists depending on distances, conditions and rail, and if it doesn't, well the punter doesn't know his tracks and has a superficial understanding of the game.

A lot of tracks here in Oz ain't flat either, lots of hills etc. that to the public might not be noticeable but ask any Jock about track bias between tracks.

The US might be a time rater's paradise, but you would go broke trying the same here.
