I agree with you Pardon me, i thought it was an average ride to say the least. I will admit that It was a good piece of riding to get out of the situation he put himself in, but lets get fair dinkum, Beadman should never have tried to go through a gap that was hardly even there. The race was run at Flemington where there is more than enough time/distance to have a crack at the leader, which makes Beadman's decision to try and split the two horses even more rediculous. Anyway, the champ won, that's the main thing, but just think how many lengths he would have won by had he been ridden properly.
