Gday Not2good
thru the week they seem to hold up ok.. Saturdays can be ************ tough tho.. I bet the overs when they present themselves, on a horse that I like.. Usually horses I rate at single figure odds, but not odds on unless they are true odds on pops.. I post the prices more as a guide for people who already have a fancy, but would like some indication of a true price indication (in my opinion). All my markets are set at 116% which kinda mirrors the TAB's.. sometimes I am right, lotsa times I am wrong.
As an example, on Sat just gone I had Uber at about 9 bucks in the black opal, it paid 16 so that was a good result. Lots of tipsters were tipping the Waterhouse thing, I rated it 16 bucks, and I still thought that was a bit on the short side.. I felt a 2yo first up at 1200, in a group race really is write your own ticket territory
The same day I rated a couple of races at Toowoomba and managed to Jag a 24$ winner I rated in my top 2 lines of betting at 4.70$
These ratings are posted for all to see, well prior to the races.
Now that I have higlighted a couple of decent payers i better give the other side of the story.. the weekend before I foolishly rated Excced and Excel at about 13/2 and managed to get well and truly burnt.. but on the same day took Le Bucheron on and won.. I thought it was well and truly over bet.. Also on the same day at Flemington I rated Feel On at
$3.10 as my on top selection it won and payed over 15 bucks (NSW TAB) So the day wasn't totally lost..
I hope that makes it a bit clearer as to my way of doing things.. I think if you want to follow someones tips, get on the William Express, he knows his stuff.. you will see his selections here abouts
