I recall a great contributor here called crash who admitted in one post that he didn't win, that surprised me. His posts were quite brilliant and informative. They certainly weren't statistically based, nor did he put a great deal of faith in systems.

Say there's a pool of $100k at the TAB. The TAB takes out $15k and that leaves $85k to be distributed to punters. What percentage of consistently dumb (follow the herd) money makes up that representative and "on-going" $85k?
