you're right mate
I was in such a hurry to get ready for the races etc. that I made a blue with the quaddie nrs in the first leg. I printed up my ratings and NR. 3 (top rater & eventual winner) was on it's own at the bottom of page 1 and the rest of the race on the next page.
Duh!
I'm sure anyone who follows the ratings would have picked that up but I do apologise.
Another thing was that I copied that private email instead of just the text to the forum and didn't know until I just now read your post!! Shows how easy things can happen in cyberspace! And so quickly! Glad it didn't include addresses, I would not have been too popular.
Apart from that we had a great day at the Valley in beautiful weather and raised a few bob for Down Syndrome Vic. at the same time.
A late friend of mine cautioned against drinking at the races because "when the wine is in, the wit's out". he was right of course and we did have some silly bets.
Had a good collect on the quinella race 5 even tho' it paid LESS than the winners div., because the 2nd horse was $1.10 the place I suppose.
Had Definitely Ready as banker in the race 7 tri and it was going like a winner until it bled. That's racing!
Overall we rated 12 races for 6 winners rated on top, 9 winners in the top 2, and 8 rated a *** winning chance. I hope you got yours early and folded the tent.
Will do two more Saturdays then off to Ireland for 3 weeks R & R, and hope to come back refreshed & ready for the fray that is the Spring Carnival!
Thanks for your continued interest,
Gerry
