The race that is now called the "Zipping Classic" is actually the race that used to be called the "Sandown Cup". A while back, they decided to change the name from Sandown Cup to Sandown Classic. And then this year they changed it again to the Zipping Classic after the horse Zipping which won the race for the last 4 years.

Then after changing changing the name to "Classic", a few years ago they decided to reintroduce the "Sandown Cup" but this time it was a 3200m race.
