Hi All,
I have come across the following system and have been using it over the past couple of weeks (without cash). It seems to go okay:
1. Fields of more than 8 starters;
2. No 2YO, maidens, steeples/hurdles;
3. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane metropolitan Saturday only.
System
1. Must be in the Top 6 horses based on place percentage;
2. Must be in the Top 6 horses in pre-post (Friday paper) betting;
3. Must race in an on-pace fashion (handy);
4. Must be rated with four (4) points of top rated Zipform (Sportsman) horse;
5. Must have finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd last start.
If after running through the system there are more than two selections leave the race alone.
If two selections come up, then use the following rule to make a final selection.
"Add up the last four starts to a total score (if an X = 8, if blank = 5)".
For example, if two horses have the following last four starts:
1. 37X3 = 21
2. B542 = 16
B = blank and a zero 0 = 10.
Number 2 would be the final selection.
Cheers.
