If you are that fragile, shut the computer down.. You aren't doing yourself any favours.
I wouldn't suggest to an alcoholic go to a pub just to chat to his mates...
And before you think I'm being harsh, a dose of reality does more good than most think - you don't have to believe me or agree with me, I can only draw on experiences with people close to me and the sooner they face it, the earlier they deal with it....and it can be day in day out for years on end.
Remove yourself and you give yourself an opportunity for a more even approach to each day and don't purposely or otherwise cause angst to yourself or more importantly others.
