You mention that you are an amateur when it comes to punting.
Be aware that trifectas are among the most difficult of bets to win - that's why the dividends are often huge.
Take my advice and learn as much as you can about betting in general before you even consider punting as a profitable business.
This forum offers some great information and there are always people willing to provide you with answers to questions you may have.
Take all ideas on board, do some research and even when you feel confident that you might have struck something like a winning method, trial it on paper for a while before risking your money.
Research and information are the key words. There is no need to rush into things. There are always races to bet on. When you ARE ready to bet you can then bet with at least some degree of confidence.
