Super Price Exotics look OK but I wonder if a successful player of exotics keeps winning, IAS will probably "crush" the bets back on the NSW tote. I know of a punter that this has happened to. He had a $150 quinella nominating just two runners so he had the quinella 150 times.
The two runners saluted 1st and 2nd. The winner paid $10 and the second runner was a 5/1 chance. Unitab paid $15, Tabcorp paid $18 and you guessed it, NSW paid $3.30
For a $10 chance to win and a $5 chance to run second (and I might add there was $2.50 unplaced runner) this $3.30 quinella is an absolute disgrace. When the NSW tote was phoned, all they would say was that they could confirm a $150 bet was placed on the winning combination. They would not reveal where the bet came from but I'll give you one guess.
