How about, has it won within 7 days ever before 
Some horses back up well, others do not.
That's well known in trainers ranks.
My horse Chrome Prince a gelding used to back up well and eat up his food.
My mare needed a break between runs, and would go off her food.
These were Picnic racers I had, but my grandfather was a leading trainer at Limerick in the 1920's. |
