Not a good start to my thread but don't forget I have no idea what I'm doing.

Race 5 No 6 Permission - I think she's still running. In hindsight (isn't that a wonderful thing) this wasn't a very good back bet as she was starting from out wide around a bend for a 1000m race. DOH!!! Maybe a good lay bet. I'll keep her in the stable and look for either a better barrier next time or a race down the Flemington straight.

Race 8 No 4 Kallogg - Came 4th but not sure how far behind the leader. Maybe he was looking for a longer distance however I just noticed he holds the track record for that distance.
