Thanks for prompting the thought about a number of selections required to "confirm" whether a system is a goer or not. Shaun posted a link to a beaut thread.
I'm more confident than ever now, I did have reservations about the smallish number of selections.
Shane Dye once said about punters "If I was a betting person I'd only have one bet per year, and that would be the favourite in the Golden Slipper" ..... now that's not verbatim, and I'm not 100% sure that the race is correct ..... but it goes directly to the thoughts of a top jockey. 99.999% of members on here would laugh at that statement ..... but are we here to show a profit ot what?
I'll punt my two favourite systems in Melb and either Syd or Qld (depending where the better races are) and see how we go. Thanks again moeee for promoting a thought (I don't have too many ya know) about how many selections we need to have to confirm a system.
