Very informative and the comment about 'the way a race will be run' is very true.
A classic example was last Saturday's BTC Sprint in Brisbane (Thorn Park).
A race with definitive leaders, (SOF, Regimental Gal, Ceffyl) and on pace types was going to ensure a fast tempo. This theoretically should have set it up for back-markers (Thorn Park, Make Mine Magic, Consular) to have a decent crack at a tiring lead pack.
The challenge was to determine the best performing backmarker.
Easier said than done? You bet...
