Not exactly what you are commenting on Que; but I wonder does anyone know what action is taken when a saddle 'shifts'. It happenened to two favourites I was on in the last week or so --- and possibly on more occasions, I certainly don't listen to all races. Down the drain goes my hard-earned.
And yesterday another jockey on a favourite 'lost his irons'.
Am not suggesting these things were the jockey's fault in any of those cases --- but they must be someone's fault surely? The punting game is hard enough as it is without things which presumably can be avoided are not.
