Well I did rule out all races on tracks worse than dead and the other usuals for me [maidens, 2yr. olds, 1000m. races, fillies and mares, and Cups races], so I was being selective there.

I didn't mention these personal filters because punters seem to have their own opinion regarding wet tracks and what races to follow/filter out and will usually do so to suit without prompting.

Still, there is food for thought in the approach I have presented. Something to mess with at a slow time of the year.

The $3 rule is of course variable to suit depending on the level of action required. Below $3 though would be definite loss territory. Filters will create a very different outcome to the 'all races/all condt.' raw stat. results.

I did quit well over the days I tried this method but I wasn't following every race day and certainly not enough of them to draw conclusions about this punting method.

I don't know if you can re-run your figures throwing in a few filters [?] but it would still be good to hear some personal results from anyone giving it a go and also details of what filters [if any] were used.
