Thanks Tam, there are good days, and there are not so good days.

Unfortunately there can be bias at Ascot as well – the wind! Generally speaking I think Ascot suits those who race on or near the lead. But when the wind is a blowing (headwind that is), those that race more rearward can have a field-day.

As to times, check the early sectionals. We have many a race where the early pace is ridiculously slow, and the jocks continue to get away with it.
