Hi Mystic
I was in the same boat as you not long ago but i seem to be getting a few lately..
I look at spending $30 on a tri for .50c..
I don't think there is anyway of making money on trifectas just on systems alone..you need to have a selection in the race you like if its favourite well and good but if its not you should think the likely favourite is the danger...
I put my selection on top with the likely favourite plus the highest Zip rating horse (sportsman) so thats 3 on top...
on the next line put the next two in betting and then the roughie with the best barrier.
so you have a combo of 3/6/6
If the favourite is your selection then you have that on top with the top Zip rating horse then on the next 2 lines the next 4 in betting and then the roughie with the best barrier..2/7/7
If you look at my thread "Mav's tips" you will see some results over the last few weeks..i've only just started to use this system so watching my results and having hypo's with your selections would give you an idea of how its going..
You sometimes get equal favs that are fluxuating ..i usually go with the one with the highest rating..
All the experts will tell you its just to hard to get tri's but especially around carnival times its just to tempting to ignore.. ..
Good luck
