RP, it's a longshot, but sometimes if you email the stable and tell them where you're from and how long you're going to be in the area, they'll say come down and we'll arrange something for you, or come down for trackwork and then the manager will arrange for a stablehand to give you a little tour.
The bigger stables sometimes won't bend, but some will, I turned up unannounced at a stud farm, as I wasn't expecting to be in that area prior and explained where I was from and my connection and interest in horses and breeding and they said "wait a minute", came back and said "yeah come on in for a quick tour", that lasted over an hour.  |
