Just looked at that race, the horse was under the whip 800m out.
Some desperado has taken all the money available down to 1.01 on the theory that 53% of horses leading at the bell go on to win.
Only problem is he got well under the odds by average and the horse was $1.50 at best, anytime in the run.
I expected him to be leading by 20 metres or something off the back, he was never more than 2.5 metres ahead at any point.
Makes you wonder!
