The Swimming went pretty much how I thought it would last night, with world records to Phelps and also our women's relay team. I was really disappointed with Thorpe's 400 swim though and his odds should definitely have gone out for the 200. Phelps, Hackett and Van Den Hoogenband will be more confident after seeing that. After last night's semi-finals, it also looks like it will be a tough ask for Petria Thomas to beat De Bruijn in the 100 fly tonight.

Tomorrow:
Best Bet - USA in the Men's 4x100 Freestyle Relay at $1.40. Barring disqualification, they're pretty much certainties.
Best Roughie - Kaitlin Sandeno in the Women's 400 Freestyle at $23.00. She took a huge slice off her PB in the medley last night and if she makes a similar type of improvement here, those odds are far too big. The favourite Hannah Stockbauer will probably be the one to beat though.
