NATIONAL PUNTING LEAGUE (Autumn 2015)

Here's how the comp works. We will all be tipping against each other for 8 weeks from this Saturday, February 7, through to March 28. Then at the completion of those 8 weeks, the top 8 tipsters will go head to head in a final series during the month of April.



RULES

1. Of the 8 Saturdays during the preliminary rounds, you must tip on at least 6 of them.

You are allowed to miss 2 weeks. No more. People will have to start tipping by February 21 or they miss out.

2. You can post anywhere between 5 and 15 selections each week.

3. You can bet anywhere between $50 and $150 each week.

The leading tipsters are judged on % profit, not the total amount of profit. So betting more won't give you a better chance.

4. You can bet either win only or win & place and you can bet any multiples of $5 win or place, up to a total of $30.

Win only betting will be the same as usual... $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 or $30 for the win. With win & place betting, you don't have to have the standard "each way" bet. For example, instead of having to bet $15 each way, you can now have $10 win / $20 place, $5 win / $25 place etc etc. The only thing you can't do is bet place only. So as long as you have at least $5 win on a horse and the total bet doesn't exceed $30, then you're okay.

5 . Races you can tip in:
You can tip at any Australian or New Zealand meeting covered by Tattsbet on Saturdays. Which is just about everything.



Calculating your $ return:
I will be using "Sportingbet Best Tote +5%" to calculate the return on all races if available. If not available, I will be using Tattsbet dividends.
