Don't forget though MrEd, that this time there is No Sunline charging for home 1000m out getting all the horses of the bit. To me last years race was a furphy, I hate Bryan Martins horse also and the track was terrible that day.
I see 2 likely scenarios at this stage
Either Grand Armee will get a soft run in front and pinch a cox plate or Grand Armee will be pounded allowing for the probable best horse in the race, Starcraft, to round 'em up. He has the swiftest sprint i've seen on a middle distance horse for a long time, so I disagree when people say the Valley wont suit him.
With the Valley's high camber if you make ur run about 6-800 out, you can reach full momentum on the corner and then simply say tata to the rest of the field
