The TAB want a monopoly, heaven help the poor old punter if they ever achieve it.

Firstly .........off shore betting banned now they bleat and complain about betting exchanges,and the amount of misinformation they spread about them is outrageous.
One of the furphies that they spread is about backing horses to lose,every time a bookie puts his prices up he is backing horses to lose,every time a punter places a bet he is betting against the others in the field winning.
But the problem is the rank and file punter does not have a clue how much the TAB ....
Controlly the media helps them spread thier propaganda to the masses ,who rush like lemmings to thier defence.
The more options the punter has for having a bet the more robust and competetive the market will become.
