Did anyone else catch the first episode of this story on the Lifestyle Channel on Monday night?
It features an Irish comedian/mad punter who decides to buy a racehorse. In the first episode he linked up with a successful owner and a well-known Irish trainer and ended up at the Newmarket sales (with only 5000 guineas to spend).
His anguish at being out-bidded will strike a chord with many potential owners.
