Found an old system that used to perform pretty well some years ago.Maybe someone with an extensive database could suss it out and see if it is still viable.
Rule 1)Perth races distance 1000/1200 only
Rule 2)Must be last start winner
Rule 3)Track rating MUST be fast
Rule 4)Must have raced in last 15 days
Rule 5)Drawn no wider than barrier 8
Rule 6)MUST be 2/1 or better
Rule 7)Eliminate any races with more than 2 last start winners
I would suggest a progressive staking plan as follows:
1-2-3-4-6-10-16
This is a 7 bet series, and a winner at 2/1 anywhere in the sequence puts us in profit.
When A winner is struck rule off and begin a new series.
It may well work on other tracks, but I found it performed better in Perth years ago, mainly because of the consistency of their weather, and only betting on Ascot and Belmont.
Would be most interested in any feedback,MO??
