The Flemington track is not flint hard today like it was for Vinnie last time. Dermot says the horse is tentative on hard tracks, and has confirmed the horse will run after walking the track early this morning.

At 10am the skies are clear and sunny, but the forecast is for afternoon showers (can't see it at this stage, but it is Melbourne).

The important thing is that even if there is no further rain and the track dries out a litte, the sting is out of it.
