Nashy,

If you want to nab some big quinella dividends, I think there are certain things you could think about looking at.

(a) I've found over the years that horses starting from the inside and outside barriers often seem to pop up at good odds in quinellas and trifectas.

(b) You could also consider looking at TAB No1 and the horse at the bottom of the field. The quinella with Tahni Girl and Maxerelle on Oaks day paid $696!!!

(c) Unitab 100 Raters and tipsters picks are always worth a thought too.

Anyway, here's an idea that I thought of, using info from the the Unitab site.

Bet only in races where there are two sets of selections listed on the Unitab site. That's Bris, Syd, Melb & Adel on Saturdays and all NSW and Vic meetings from Sunday to Friday. Fields of 8 or more only. Delete races where the two tipsters pick the same horse to win. In remaining races, take both tipsters' top picks and add the horses starting from the inside and outside barriers. If you have less than 4 horses, add the horse or horses shortest in pre-post odds to make up the 4 selections.

TODAY'S RESULTS:
TERANG R2 (tips 9&11, barriers 3&9, odds 4) 3,4,9,11 RESULT 9-4-8 Quin $7.20
TERANG R7 (tips 6&8, barriers 12&13) 6,8,12,13 RESULT 6-13-7 Quin $50.60
TERANG R8 (tips 8&13, barriers 4&12) 4,8,12,13 RESULT 12-13-11 Quin $103.60
SCONE R2 (tips 1&7, barriers 12&13) 1,7,12,13 RESULT 13-7-2 Quin $11.50
SCONE R5 (tips 2&3, barriers 4&7) 2,3,4,7 RESULT 6-4-9
SCONE R8 (tips 2&3, barriers 7&8) 2,3,7,8 RESULT 5-10-3
Out $30, In $171.90, Profit $141.90

There was also a $109 quinella yesterday at Queanbeyan, but I can assure you that it isn't going to work like that all the time. It does show you what's possible though.

Excellent work sportznut!

A nice mixture of various systems spruced on this forum. I like it.
