On the subject of the Ascot summer carnival, there's a new format this year for 4 of the most popular race dates of the carnival, condensing these into a week-long timeframe as follows:
Saturday, December 4 - Railway Stakes.
Wednesday, December 8 – Listed Jungle Dawn Classic.
Saturday, December 11 - Colonel Reeves Stakes.
Sunday, December 12 - Fruit ‘n’ Veg Stakes.

New format implemented by the WATC. Will be interesting to see just how things pan out, and if they stick to the new format for next year or revert back to the old. |
