Upilio
This race is tailor made for 16. Upilio. $3.6 each way is a very good bet. He'll be at his peak tomorrow after 2 runs in. The step up to 1,200m suits as he is a strong finisher. He's drawn perfectly in barrier 5 (note that 2nd favourite Ben Hur has drawn 16, will have to use his speed early to get across and lead, and is suspect at the trip having failed to finish off over 1,000m last start). Further, Upilio finished less than a length behind the very smart Noodle Night last start. Noodle Night currently rates as the best 2yo filly in Brisbane, and should win race 2 at Doomben tomorrow, giving a lead in to this race. With so many slow early speed colts in this race, Upilio should get a comfortable trail in the first half of the field and overpower the leaders in the straight.
