Default Saturday's Racing -15 Jan 2005

BR Doomben (QLD)

RACE: 8
1 DODGING (BLKS) (7) John Hawkes (Eagle Farm) T Pannell (a2) 59.5

SR Warwick Farm (NSW)

RACE:1
3 MEN AT WORK (NZ) (BLKS) (1) John O'Shea (Randwick) D Beadman 55
The up-and-comer. Pocketed approaching the home turn and was outpaced by Havana Wind when runner-up at Rwick (1800m) Jan 1. Steps up to 2400m for the first time. Clearly the one to beat.

RACE:2
5 CLEWS PLACE (BLKS) (5) Barbara Joseph (Canberra) J Cassidy 53.5
Rolled along in front and kept going to score a very game win at Cbury (1550m) Jan 6. Likely leader again and sure to take some catching.

RACE:3
1 SAXON (BLKS) (6) Gerald Ryan (Rosehill) B Pengelly 57
Loves the mile. Held off the talented Jymcarew at Rwick Jan 1 in a very tenacious display. Has the topweight but does look extremely hard to beat.

RACE:5
2 COOL FRONT (6) John O'Shea (Randwick) C Brown 55.5
Raced away for a convincing first-up win at Rwick over this distance Dec 26. Has always shown plenty of ability. Hard to beat again.

RACE:6
2 VACHERE (BLKS) (6) John O'Shea (Randwick) D Beadman 56.5
Appreciated being ridden more quietly when closed strongly into second place behind Navaho Princess at Rwick Jan 1. Has won here previously and shows plenty of potential. Rates highly.

RACE:7
11 PAULINI (1) Kevin Moses (Randwick) C Brown 54.5
Went well on debut here (1000m) Jan 3 behind Beauty Watch. Chased right to the line suggesting the 1200m will be ideal. One of the better hopes.

RACE:8
7 VIONNETO (9) Guy Walter (Warwick Farm) D Beasley 54
Returned to racing with a very determined win at Rwick (1100m) Jan 1. Likely to take a sit well off the speed and will be powering home at the right end.

REGARDS
WILLIAM
