I was relying on you Equine Investor!
The Go Racing Syndicate began June 1999 with Bruce Clark and Alan someone, but the management transferred to a new group and trainer Lee Freedman was dropped in favour of Mark Bairstow.
It all looked pretty slick and I even have a Go Racing money clip and pen etc etc. For a lousy $595 you could join 2000 other "race lovers" and win squillions.
I think it was the second thing my wife and I bought together (after the life changing decision to purchase "good" wine glasses) and hands up who thinks I've heard the end of it?
Whilst I didn't expect to retire, a little more commuincation would have been appreciated and now they seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. I'll be in Geelong one day I'm sure, may have to hang out at the ex-AFL players social club (Geelong Branch).
Ears still bent to those with info.
Cheers and be good at it.
