If you are building a database barrier stats would be something you can then generate.
As for all the class lists i too have faced this problem. There are literally hundreds of different combinations of class. And to make it harder some formguides have different naming conventions for them.
I have the classes in my database divided into race class, sex restrictions, age restrictions and weight conditions (eg handicap, sw, swp, wfa...).
I recommend gathering the data and then trying to make sense of the class info from your particular data source.
