If one honestly beleives that one day at Ipswich is a Polorisation of the entire QLD racing industry, should be a millionaire in no time by backing 5 horses a race after deleting the first 2 Favs.
That meeting was a good example of what types of races to leave out .
Some rules for targeting half reasonale races .
1)Try not to bet in fields of 8 & less runners ,weird stuff happens, they are rarely run on the pace ,which allows anything to finish the race off.
2)Try not to bet races where the whole field has not had 2+ career starts, even if there is only one runner with less than 2 career starts , it usually tells me it`s a crap race to predict based on form. I notice a number of outsiders get up in these races.
3)Try & avoid races greater than 15 runners, it realy becomes a race of misfortunes , with narrators saying "if only if" the biggest sentence in the world.
With the adove rules one would have deleted half the races on that venue on the day of Wed 16th Feb.
Cheers.
