Why the Racing services bureau or anyone in the racing industry would want to stop punters from getting access to information in a useful form is beyond me.
We use this information to facilitate gambling on their product, thus keeping them in business.
The changes they have made to the acceptances format have effectively put me out of business.
The information in it's current form is no different to having the fields in front of you from the daily papers.
The old format allowed me to delete scratchings, include missing riders and replacements and record observations on past performances relative to the chances of the horse in today's event.
It enabled me to record finishing positions etc., for future reference.
I am back to using a pen and paper and my computer is next door to useless.
So much for technology.
