Level stakes would show a -$3.00 or -12% POT loss.

That`s a 32 point difference that cannot be ignored.

Just because a staking plan shows a profit with a single example when level stakes makes a loss does not prove anything! If you have a sequence of 20 bets that all lose then with the staking plan you have lost 110 units but with level stakes you are only down 20. Thats a 90 point difference that should not be ignored!!!

Mathematically your long run profit or loss (expressed as percentage of turnover) will be the same regardless of whether you use staking plan or level stakes. Short term they may work but sooner or later you will hit a run of outs that will break the bank.

The reason so many people are fooled by them is that they generally hide the losses so instead of losing a small amount each day you win a small amount most days but when you have a loss it is huge.
