Sorry Mr J, but have you caught up with what we're doing regarding $100 bets? As of April 1st, everyone in the comp was entitled to have one 'free' $100 bet. It doesn't come off your balance. Apart from those free bets, all other bets still have a limit of $50 on them.

So, in other words, if this was your free bet, than your balance stays at $456 and if it wasn't, then you could only bet $50, so your balance would be $406.

Here are the rules regarding these 'free' $100 bets:

'FREE' $100 BETS
From April 1st, everyone that's entered the Punter's comp is entitled to make one $100 bet which doesn't come off their balance. You can use this free bet whenever you like. You can use it as soon as you get it, or you can save it up to use later in the comp. It's up to you. The same will also happen on June 1st and August 1st and there will also be 2 free bets to be used on the AFL or NRL Grand Finals. So, anybody that's still alive in the comp to the end will have had 5 free $100 bets. These bets aren't counted as part of your regular 50-200 bets throughout the competition.
