I use the neurals all the time... only use the first three - CP, CF and Tim. The advantage I find in the neurals over other ratings is that the individual form aspects are separated. So often I find the overall ratings are distorted due to factors that I don't find important eg. trainer, barrier, days etc. I'm not saying trainers and jockeys aren't important, but I feel their value is reflected in the raw performance of the horse. All great trainers train ordinary horses and the best jockeys will never help some horses win. With the neurals you can find the fastest, most proven horse and then apply other factors later.... very valuable.
