Mo, I've never been a fan of having more than about 2 or 3 games in my multi bets (usually I just have single bets), but when Jack Daniels started out so well with his 5 leg multis, I thought I might give it a try. No good. Just lucky that I've only been betting small amounts, because if I had been outlaying $50 on each bet like some have, I'd be back there with Rabbitz and Chuck.
This week for example, I originally had three multis picked out and two of them would have won:
S12: Highlanders, Chiefs, Stormers
S12: Highlanders +7.5, Chiefs+7.5, Stormers +7.5
AFL: Carlton, Essendon
But what did I do? At the very last minute, I decided to get greedy and I stuck two extra legs in those first two multis. DUMB!!!
TheBookie has not had one multibet that I can remember in this comp. He seems to go for single bets in the AFL that are $2.00 or longer. Admittedly he's been helped greatly by the Swans last second win as that's jumped $300 onto his tally. Whether he stays on top or not we'll have to wait and see. Might find things more difficult later on when the AFL gets further into the season. We could well have many different leaders over the duration of the comp. Personally, I'm just hoping I can somehow get back to $500.
