One way that you might consider is looking at Mark Read's field vs. favourite bet when the horse I knock is at very short odds.

Unfortunately my Cup tips were not so successful, but I wanted to steer away from the obvious favourites.
However the Pro-Punter members' service rates the horses as they see it. They equal top rated Persian Punch and Ethereal.
