yeah, i think Mummify is a class above... $2.20 is way under the odds for a horse who had a good run against an ordinary field last start on a heavy track, has drawn barrier 12 and is up against the Caulfield Stks and Caulfield Cup winner. Rule One of racing: Never ask a horse to do something it has never done before. I know mummify gives him 8.5 kilos, but the 3 kg weight relief with the apprentice jockey will help. Perlin is a proven Open Handicap horse, Mummify is a proven Group 1 horse, and a difference of 5.5 kilos doesn't justify the class difference.
