OK, so one has a section with variable parameters. That's been done and fair enough so far.
Then there is the "method", I want to protect my "method"
Fortunately for me, what HAS been revealed, will never work for anyone else. But IF there is a certain calculation, a formula or process for the formula, that is unique, or "never been done before", or thought of, can THAT particular "process" be patented?
It has more to do with protocol rather than variable selection criteria.
So I guess it would be termed within the programing a "protocol" for IF this or that would appear during the process of selections, AFTER the parameters are set.
Can a protocol be patented? is the next question.
