I don't bet money, so I'm entirely in it to see good horses make careers. I've noticed I tend to dislike a horse if it has somehow turned into a champ without me finding out about it, but even then they can win me over if they don't beat my horses. I can remember Might And Power's Melbourne Cup, I was on him, and my Dad was on Doreimus, and the whole 800m down the straight I was just screaming "NO DOREIMUS YOU DONKEY, NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Much like the year Saintly won it, and I almost missed the race getting to the TAB, and all of the TAB's were down across Victoria, and I spent that last 800m (for a completely different reason) screaming "NOOOOOOOOO SAINTLY!!!!" I couldn't believe that, the one year it was a one horse race... Too bad Super Impose never got there, he came so close twice.
