Just a simple suggestion but...

Why not have 3 going. Average the stake over the 3 and bet that on each...

eg..

Sys 1 Bet = $10
Sys 2 Bet = $27
Sys 3 Bet = $5

Average of the 3 Systems is 42/3= $14.
So you would bet 14 on each horse....
