spyhunter,

I feel for you buddy. I think BJ is wrong in this instance.
Those of us who have been around this site for a while would know to take a Chuck tip with a grain of salt. Not worth listening to. In fact you are probably better off doing the opposite. Chuck has done nothing wrong legally but morally he is wrong. To come on a public forum with such a certain "Lay of the Day" is irresponsible and is the reason that "tips" forums are a waste of time and very misleading. We will give Chuck the benefit of the doubt and assume he did not back the horse to win. However, to come up with that horse as the Lay of the Day out of all the horses that went around on the day....well??
The horse had only ever had one start and failed on a HEAVY track whereas today's race was on a GOOD track. The horse has an astute trainer as well. Therefore there had to be some considerable doubt as to its credentials for a Lay. The professionals backed the horse for a fortune whilst the mugs thought it was a LAY.
You may have lost money but you have learnt a very valuable lesson - do not take notice of any "tips" on this site or any other site. It is a waste of time and potentially a waste of money.
I will hear people say, "Oh but at least Chuck had a go". Wrong again! It is meaningless to tip on here because those that know will definately ignore the tip and those that don't know (like spyhunter) will probably lose their money.
It is a no win situation. "Tips" should be barred!!
