These horses are poor value at the odds. I have used Saturday's Australian as a guide for the prices.

To clear up any confusion I am not saying these horses must lose or should never be backed. Every horse has its price!

What I am saying is that at the odds I have used they are under the odds, they are poor value bets and they are long term losing bets.

It is like accepting odds on about the result of a toss of a coin, say a return of $1.50 which includes your $1.00 bet, about tails coming up. Tails might come up and you win, and collect $1.50 for a 50 cents profit, but keep doing it and you will lose long term!
