To the best of my knowledge the only place where individual horse sectional times are for Melbourne Metro meetings, available on the sportscolour website. The technology to do this involves inserting a small credit card size chip in each runners saddlecloth, which is picked up by an eletronic sensor at each 200m point in the race. This setup has been established not by the Vic race clubs, but by Sportscolour itself with the race clubs permission (to my knowledge). Even with this technology there are still quite a few errors, some of them absurd.
